Many of you have been asking why we haven’t launched yet when the original plan was to go live in January. All I can say is, this journey has been a wild ride and nothing at all like I had imagined!

​​Becoming a creative entrepreneur after owning a retail business has really changed me in some ways, to my core. As the “maker” instead of the “buyer”, a whole new world has been opened up.

Integrity, to me, is the most important quality a business owner can possess. If you believe in something, make it your mission, and share it through your products/services, be real about it. Be transparent. Be consistent. Stay true to yourself and do right by others.

It’s unfortunate that the world we live in right now is full of dishonesty and uncertainty. It’s becoming more and more difficult to find companies who run their businesses ethically and honestly – but it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s up to us to change that.

A couple of weeks ago, our little business hit a bump in the road. We had the option to go

around this obstacle, or face it head-on and make the necessary changes that followed. We chose to face it head-on which meant postponing our launch, and basically reformulating our custom recipes we had worked so hard to perfect.

Despite spending the first three months solely doing research, sourcing, and formulating/testing, I hadn’t anticipated running into a complication like this so far into the game.

For those that are curious – our “bump in the road” was that we discovered one of our wax manufacturers had changed their product – therefore sending us on an impromptu search for a new supplier. The new wax we found (which is AMAZING, by the way) is completely different from what we had been using prior, and has essentially forced us to go back to square one.

A wee bit of a setback.

Several people have asked why we don’t just keep using the old wax since most people don’t even know or care about what’s in their candles… Added toxins just aren’t talked about in this industry. But here’s the thing.

WE know. And WE care.

Our mission is to help spread awareness about things like this. We are trying to create products that you don’t have to question. Products that you can feel good about using around your family.

So, as the months fly by and we’re still not live yet, please bear with us and know we are working hard to create the quality products we’ve promised!
