Happy New Year, HLF Family!!!

As we head into a brand new year, I wanted to give you all a quick update on what's happening at the store and the studio. It's been extremely challenging trying to balance everything over these last few weeks with it being so busy, and I know I've left many questions unanswered.

Our first order of business is to make sure everyone gets the items they've ordered/made before we lock the doors at our Libertyville location forever on January 15th! We have quite a few online orders sitting in the store awaiting pick up as well as some projects from the studio. Elisabeth and I will be spending the next couple of weeks packing & moving everything out of our space, and while we will not be open for shopping during this time, we WILL be open for order pick-up. THE START OF SOMETHING NEW
When I first shared about our upcoming rebrand back on November 1st, moving out of our Libertyville space had never crossed my mind. Up to that point I had just assumed that we would be here forever! The whole purpose of the rebrand was to bring together the two main parts of my business (Happy Little Flame & The Creative Studio) to create one cohesive brand under one roof. This is why I wanted to come up with a new name in addition to the new look & feel.

However, things quickly changed later that month when I began thinking about moving to a different location. I hadn't realized that I had been limiting myself, my business, and my ideas to fit into this 2000sqft space. While it served us well for 4.5 years and gave us the opportunity to establish HLF and create the Studio, it was obvious that moving on was the next step in our journey. And since then, my vision for the next chapter of HLF has become incredibly clear!

With all that said, there are two main things I want you to know:

1. Happy Little Flame will be staying Happy Little Flame. Yes, we are moving forward with the product redesign, but there will be no name change on the product side of the business!

2. Our new business concept will be a reimagined version of the Creative Studio (with a new name), that will focus on community, connection, creativity, and ambiance. I can promise that it will be a unique full-sensory experience unlike anything you've ever encountered, and yes, we will have a store on site as well! It's difficult to share all of the details of the concept without having found the new space, but I can share some parts of my vision, noting that it is still in the development stages. We hope to open by Fall of 2025 at the latest in the Libertyville, Mundelein, and Vernon Hills area.
